I am a Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor licensed in the State of CT. My training has been in psychodynamic, solution focused and EMDR (eye movement, desensitization and Reprocessing) therapies. I have 30 years of experience and training helping individuals with histories of trauma and addiction . I can provide individual therapists, groups, and organizations with supervision, consultation and guidance on providing trauma informed care in all levels of treatment.
Over the years I have offered trainings and conference presentations on the following topics: The use of EMDR therapy to address addiction or compulsive disorders, how to use EMDR therapy to help clients with complex trauma histories and ways to provide trauma informed approaches to address addiction in all levels of care. I am no longer offering live trainings, but have created several on-demand training options that include EMDRIA Credits and CE’s.
I offer individual EMDR consultation services via Zoom. My specialty areas include: EMDR therapy in community mental health settings, using EMDR therapy who have histories of complex trauma and/or addiction and getting started with EMDR therapy for newly trained clinicians.
